What would you do if you could escape to anywhere you could possibly imagine? What would happen if that escape became so enticing, you never wanted to leave? Daydream explores society’s yearning desire to escape the mundanity of life, leading into the increasing obsession and addiction we have with unrealistic fantasies.

Taking place in a distant future, grieving husband Ben has become addicted to a frighteningly realistic virtual reality escapism service, which he uses to spend his days with a simulated version of his long gone wife. But when Ben's increasing obsession with his fantasy threatens to ruin his life in the real world, he is met with a choice: live in a dream, or finally wake up.

Highlighting our own fixation with chasing idealistic yet unhealthy distractions from our lives, Daydream inspires us to seek value and satisfaction with what is right in front of us. Daydream is currently being re-edited for its upcoming festival run.
